The appearance of digital technology in dentistry has changed the whole range of dental procedures with more predictable workflows and treatment opportunities. The integration of new devices to prosthetic workflows provides better quality and more predictable follow-up. Modern restorative dentistry cannot ignore the progress of intraoral scanners whose spread in the dental market is increasingly important. Furthermore, new materials and interdisciplinary treatment transformed the prosthetic treatments. Research in field of digital dentistry is important for long term application of new devices. The main aim of these scientific studies are the education and practical application of evidence-based workflows. In our lecture we would like to present our new result in field of digital dentistry and show how clinicians can integrate this knowledge to their practical work.
