Surgical & prosthetic therapy plans in “forgotten” patients

New, minimally-invasive, patient-centred implant-prosthetic thinking that stems from research carried out at our centre over the last 15 years.

New procedures that do not replace accepted guidelines, but instead integrate them in a much less invasive context and at the same time define new surgical-prosthetic paradigms in the totally and partially edentulous frail patient.

In order to achieve this, one must change the way of thinking by moving from a convergent approach to a divergent mental process: “convergent intelligence is simple, logical, unidirectional with a cause-effect relationship and leads to the resolution of a problem starting from the way the problem was set; divergent intelligence, on the other hand, is multidirectional and consists in solving the problem by changing its very setting, turning it upside down (REVERSE PARADIGM)”.
