Veneers, paradigm shift! Introducing the method

Minimally invasive aesthetic reconstructions, increasingly used today, which make use of ceramic veneers require, in my opinion, knowledge, manual skills and a solid clinical-technical protocol, rigorous in all its phases. Carrying out this kind of reconstruction is “not easy”. Far from it!

In the last decade, common sense has given way to improvisations and the compulsive obsession of: “I can do it too”. This does not always live up to expectations.

The objective of this lecture is: to propose an innovative clinical protocol with a rigorously conservative approach to dental preparation with the aid of innovatively cut burs, bringing to the attention of the auditor a preparation drawing for veneers called “self-centering geometric preparation” supported by an adequate analogue impression method called “impression technique with the modified metal matrix” in comparison with the current international guidelines that regulate digital workflows, all supported by an equally extremely rigorous and technical operational protocol… and much else.
